Jason has worked in the outdoor industry most of his life. His knowledge of wildlife is more than casual. He has a master’s degree from the University of Waterloo in Animal Physiology. He spent seven years working for the Ontario Department of Natural Resources and the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans. His work there primarily involved tagging marine mammals, as in polar bears, whales and walrus. He then became a fishing and hunting guide in Manitoba for a few years before moving to White Fox, Saskatchewan. He currently is the General Manager of Scott Lake Lodge.
