Baffin BootsDesigned by Canadians for Canadians, BAFFIN believes in “Living the Brand” through real-world product testing processes. Whether it’s an extreme excursion to the poles, going to your favourite fishing spot or a heli-skiing expedition, BAFFIN products are not only tested by a team of real-life explorers and adventurers, but by their founder and CEO himself, in the unique conditions for which they have been developed.

Named after Canada’s largest island, spanning across the Arctic circle, BAFFIN has been manufacturing product in Canada since 1979. When he was younger, Paul Hubner was inspired by his father’s visits to the Arctic, working closely with local Inuit to source seal skin boots and other traditional Canadian footwear. During this time Hubner developed an unparalleled understanding of the country’s extreme landscape and the technologies required to build the ultimate boot for endurance and performance. Hubner applied his knowledge of the fundamental layering structure inspired by the Inuit.

Today, BAFFIN is the footwear of choice for durability, dependability and performance, utilized for polar expeditions, fishing & hunting expeditions, extreme skiing, winter tours, industrial use and your everyday adventures. BAFFIN remains a family company, headquartered in Stoney Creek, Ontario.
